I would love the ability to set Device Alerts at the customer level and have it automatically apply to all devices for that customer.
I understand there would be conflicts so I imagine it would work like this...
- By default all device alerts are managed individually in the device > Settings tab
- In the Customer > Settings tab there is a button that says "manage device alerts"
- The first time that button is clicked a warning pops-up that says "This will overwrite all individual device settings, are you sure?"
- After clicking OK on that warning, all the Device Alerts check boxes are now available in the Customer > settings page
- The Alerts in Device > Settings tab are now grayed out, with one check box on top that says "Overwrite customer settings for this device"
- If that box is checked, that individual device can once again be managed separately, unaffected by the Customer-wide settings.
