The aborted scans is not accurate. I reported this to them a few weeks ago. It's a known issue reported to Kabuto incorrectly. The scans are actually being completed 90% of the time. You will notice if you do a scan on next sync, force the sync and watch it.. it will pop up almost right away. I tested it on 3 machines with no user interaction. The scan actually goes through and completes, besides the fact it's saying it's been aborted/cancelled.
However, would be nice to be able to configure the custom scheduling in EAM. per policy/device.
