Hi Group, wonder if someone can give me a hand here,
I had a client late last week call me , about a Kabuto update, they weren't sure what it was so they killed the process.
I again explained to them what KABUTO was, so hopefully no more of that with this client,
Now his system, reports KABUTO has stopped working, I took a quick look last evening, sure enough its not running (no reports in last 3 days) about when he called me, I had him reboot and wait, no results there so I logged into it late last night, services still not running, I tried to use Windows add/remove to un-install and hopefully re- install, but receive the Application has crashed and cant be completed B.S
A quick look through task manager services and applications so no KABUTO services or processes running,
I was hoping to do just a re install that way I had hoped that his settings would be retained and my dashboard would just pickup once again.
Either way I need to get it running again, any ideas, should I just deleted the application folder and try a re install, anyone seen this before..
Anyway I am sure it was a result of him killing the update while running, and not a KABUTO issue.
