I ran the "basic diagnostic" and the report showed 36 app crashes in the "insights" field. I clicked "learn more about insights" and was greeted with an "Oops, this page doesn't exist" error. Verbiage may be incorrect, but that was the long and short of it. Then, I noticed when scrolling down through the report another field that says "no app crashes found."
What gives?
Secondly, when initially signing up I was offered the opportunity to download both TechSuite Windows app and TechUSB.
TechUSB sounded like something I need. An "offline" / PE environment in which to do things that can't be done while Windows is running. Dope! Only every time I tried to create the bootable USB I got an error about my AV interfering with the operation. The computer I was attempting this on only has Windows Defender and I turned it off. I also attempted to add a firewall exception and when that failed, turned the firewall off too. Still failed.
So I thought maybe it was due to my having downloaded the installer to a shared drive. I attempted to download TechUSB again... but can't find it anywhere lol. To make matters worse, I see several forum posts as recent as 11 days ago stating that TechUSB will not work with UEFI systems (even after turning off Secure Boot and setting legacy mode) and staff mentioning it is on the backburner.
No worries if it isn't UEFI friendly yet... but can a brother get a download link to it anyway?
Thanks!
For what it's worth, and so that I am not only mentioning the "issues" I am having... I love what I've seen so far otherwise. The reports are nicely formatted and the ability to have tech facing and client facing reports is sweet.
We have had clients asking for these types of reports for years and we've basically avoided trying to set up anything that would generate such reports due to.... procrastination. Pure procrastination. LOL. So it's nice that such a feature is a basic element of TechSuite.
Thanks again!
