This is standard on all my laptops and i try to mention it to other techs i see who have not done this. You can go to windows and add a network location add a network location of
https://live.sysinternals.com/
This creates a folder with all the tools, constant updates from Microsoft, takes o storage as it is live, and once you get to know the tools you will not have a need for a ton of the tools you have, you will just constantly go to this folder to grab what you need. Try it and load a tool. The exe is the tool and the CHM is the help file for the tool.
Now map a new drive and point this one to

This is the Nirsoft toolset live panel.
Also there are tons of free software you can use to create a virtual cd/dvd drive as well and keep mounted as if they were local.
You can also map webdav and FTP in win 8 and 10.
Map stuff its more than just storage containers.
