I just installed Kabuto on a group of my clients machines. Most of them installed just fine but one of the machines the initial scan by Emsisoft hits 22% complete and hangs. When I remoted into the system and started looking at it over the weekend I opened the AV application and it stated that it was not licensed and to choose a license (trial, purchase, or enter key). But there IS a key if I look at the settings.
The client was complaining (and rightly so) about the AV being stuck. Any suggestions or ideas? I removed Emsisoft from my control panel for that system, uninstalled Emsisoft on the PC, and then triggered a reboot. I then re-enabled it on my control panel and waiting for it to re-install. It did but with the same results.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
