Hello everyone,
I'm very pleased with Kabuto so far and think it's an excellent idea. I like to take note of things to report in the hope that it might help with making things more streamlined. I have two things to run past you.
The first is that, on my workshop machine (one I used to test initially with the trial) I disabled Emsisoft Antivirus before the trial ended but I found it still continued on with the AV and a 365 day license without paying for it. In fairness, there are a couple of things this computer does that confuse me a little bit, so it could well be a strange issue with this one PC, but nevertheless I thought I should make you aware of this!
The second is that, on my own regular computer I happened to have a bluescreen last night. On reboot Kabuto didn't seem to discover this and it hasn't so far popped up today either, whereas another message has (a defrag warning on an SSD, I hadn't disabled this notification until now and I know you are working on SSD detection so I'm not complaining about this).
I have attached a screenshot from BlueScreenView. Would you be able to offer me any information on how Kabuto detects bluescreens and why this one seemed to go undetected so far?
Keep up the good work. Eagerly awaiting your reply,
Darran.
