Hmmm.. Maybe I've missed something, or maybe Kabuto can't do it -- not sure.
I have a HaaS setup with my company - and I loved the idea of what Kabuto offered. I've got all systems on Microsoft Azure as an organization - this allows us to add/remove users as needed, give local admin rights, etc.......... So I figured we'd give Kabuto a try for monitoring and AV.
I installed it to a test machine to see what would happen - I was super impressed once I installed it how easy the process was .. it was working wonderfully ........... and then I logged off and logged on as a different user. Wait, where did Kabuto go? .. The panel now shows the system offline??? What happened?
First, I logged back on as the primary -- bam -- back online. Hmm...
Logged on as second user -- back offline -- okay, lets see, maybe the installer has to be run per user? .. Run the 'Customer Facing' version -- wait, no, won't allow me to install, says there's a conflicting RMM agent..
grumble
What am I missing? .. Is Kabuto only single-user based? Can it not be utilized for multi-users? Will it not show the system as even being active, or run monitoring, if the primary user is logged off (i.e. if they're at the CTRL+ALT+DEL screen awaiting logon)? I'll be very sad if that's indeed the case.
Pleeeeeease tell me I'm wrong here and that I've completely overlooked something (and if I did, please help shed light on what I'm missing)!
